Gapema Podcast | پادکست گپما
Gapema Podcast is a community-focused podcast based in Melbourne, supporting social cohesion, multicultural dialogue, and inclusive civic participation in Australia.
Gapema is a Farsi word rooted in the idea of “our conversation” and by extension, our voice, our point of view, and our collective statement. Inspired by this meaning, the podcast creates space for simple, sincere, and experience-based conversations shaped by lived realities.
The podcast is currently produced in Farsi, engaging primarily with Farsi-speaking communities, people originating from Afghanistan, and Hazara communities in Australia and across the global diaspora. While its focus is on Australian social life and civic participation, the conversations naturally resonate with international audiences through shared language, experience, and cultural connection.
Grounded in lived experience, it encourages dialogue across generations and perspectives, with the aim of strengthening mutual understanding, community connection, and informed public discourse within Australia’s multicultural landscape.
